In 1980 My parents drove me to Meredith College, and that's when I fell in love with Raleigh. I earned a Business degree from Meredith in 1984 and in 1988, I married an NCSU engineer and we moved to Atlanta. While there, I got my GA real estate license, bought my first house, renovated it top to bottom and had a baby. We decided to move back to NC in 2000 to be closer to family and Raleigh was the spot!. I worked part time for a few years to focus on the joys (and challenges!) of being a mom. During that time I really started to feel the pull back into real estate. Because I've seen Raleigh grow across 40+ years I feel it is fair to say I know this area very well. Plus it's in my blood. My mom was a Realtor in Winston-Salem. My Dad is a real estate Investor and my brother is a commercial Realtor in Charlotte.
MY WORK ETHIC: I am proud to be able to successfully get folks under contract in one of the hottest real estate markets in the nation. I bring a wealth of knowledge, good habits, great attitude, and skills/expertise about buying and selling real estate here. I go the extra mile for my people, maintain a hands-on approach and remain accessible to ensure top-notch service. It's not the same everywhere, so you need someone who knows the local market and you can trust to do it right.
YOU: You may have heard it before but it is so true….being ready (to make a move), willing (to navigate this market), and able (physically, financially, right timing, energy-wise).... You need all of those pieces in place. I believe client communication and flexibility are vital. We will work closely together, often talking every day, sometimes multiple times a day. If you are working full time buying / selling a house does not happen in the “off hours”. It’s a part-time job in parallel. For about 60 days. That’s an extra stress load, nonetheless. I try to make sure each sale is as painless and positive for the client as it can be.
Today I am part of the Triangle Experts team, led by Sharon Evans who has over 20 years in the business. Year after year, my team and I produce 300+ transactions, averaging $150 million in sales. WRAL voters picked us as the #1 team in the area!
